December 13—Redmond, WA (December Medal Show)  Alexa Anthony wins the USEF Hunter Seat Medal and Talent Search Medal.

December 11—Redmond, WA  Potcreek celebrates its 10th anniversary as the sponsor of the HITS Desert Circuit Junior Sportsmanship Award.

December 7—Lexington, KY  The United States Hunter and Jumper Association has announced the selection of Carly and Alexa Anthony as national finalists for this year’s Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session (Level 3).

November 22—Redmond, WA (November Medal Show) Rebecca Sexton wins the Maclay Medal.

November 13—Bishop, GA  Carly Anthony     named MVP over fences in University of Georgia’s victory over the #1 ranked Auburn Tigers.  This is her 4th MVP in 5 starts as a Bulldog.

October 31—Syracuse, NY (Syracuse National Horse Show)  Alexa Anthony, Rebecca Sexton and Garret Schmidt join the 148 other national finalists at this year’s ASPCA Maclay Finals.

October 26—Redmond, WA  Potcreek announces that it will be hosting 3 additional Medal horse shows:  November Medal (Nov. 22nd), December Medal (Dec. 13th), and the New Year’s Medal (Jan. 3rd).  Haul-in equitation riders are encouraged to participate.

October 23—Blythewood, SC  Carly Anthony     named MVP on the flat in University of Georgia’s Equestrian Team victory over the University of South Carolina.

October 18—Redmond, WA  (Halloween Classic Horse Show)  Lauren Myers and Christina Pitz win the coveted “Best Costume” competition with their Geek Squad impersonation.  Lauren also wins the USEF Talent Search Medal.  Alexa Anthony wins the Maclay and USEF Hunter Seat Medals and Alexa Allen wins the $500 Jumper Classic on Chili Pepper.

September 8—Redmond, WA  Potcreek announces that the 11th Annual Halloween Classic Horse Show will be a USEF Licensed competition this year with both Medal and Jumper Classes.  $1000 in prize money will be offered along with the traditional costumes, walk-trot, apple dunk and games.  Get the schedule and prize list here.

September 7—Redmond, WA (August Medal Horse Show)  Alexa Allen places first in the USEF Talent Search and Hunt Seat Medals.

September 6—San Juan Capistrano (The Oaks) Carly and Alexa Anthony and Garrett Schmidt join 15 other riders selected from the West Coast to participate in the second level of the USHJA’s Emerging Athlete Program.

September 1—Redmond, WA  Cara Anthony     and Potcreek featured on the cover of the September issue of Northwest Horse Source Magazine.

August 30—Wilsonville, OR (Autumn Spectacular)  Cara Anthony     places 2nd on Woodpecker and 8th on Romeo in the $15,000—1.40m Jumper Classic.

August 22—Langley, BC (Thunderbird)  Cara Anthony     on Potcreek Partner’s Woodpecker wins the $3,000 1.30m Futures  and is 8th in the $75,000 Keg Grand Prix on Romeo.  Rebecca Sexton wins her 7th USET Talent Search class.  Lauren Myers is reserve champion in the Children’s Equitation.

August 9—Carnation, WA  (Evergreen Classic) Carly Anthony     on Romeo places 3rd in the $5,000 Welcome Jumper, 1st in the $10,000 Open Jumper, and 5th in the $40,000 Grand Prix.  Karen Bell named Best Adult Rider and Champion in the 1.10m Adult Jumpers.  Cara Anthony     on Fiorenza is Reserve Champion in the Green Conformation Hunters. Emily Hilton on Tristan is Champion in the Junior Hunters 15&Under.  Wendy Collins on Delorean is Champion in the Children’ Hunters 1-14 and Reserve Champion in Equitation 13-14.  Lauren Myers on Finding Nemo is Champion of the Evergreen Equitation Classic and Reserve Champion in the Children’s Hunters.  Abigail Prendergast on London Calling is Champion  in the Short Stirrup Hunter Horse.  Melanie Kuechle on Tyrella is Reserve Champion in the Long Stirrup.

August 1—Redmond, WA  Potcreek announces that it will be hosting the August Medal Horse Show on September 7th.  Haul-in equitation riders are encouraged to participate.

July 12—Wilsonville, OR (Country Classic)  Alexa Anthony wins the USEF Hunt Seat Medal and is Champion in Equitation 16-17.  Karen Bell wins in the 0.85m and 0.95 meter divisions.  Melanie Kuetchle is Reserve Champion in the Long Stirrup Equitation.

July 26—Bend, OR (High Desert Circuit) Carly Anthony     wins the Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic.  Rebecca Sexton is Champion in the 16-17 Equitation and 1st in the Jumper Phase of the WIHS Medal. Abigail Prednergast is Champion in the short Stirrup horse for both Hunter and Equitation.  Lauren Myers wins the PCHA Medal.   Delorean is Champion in the Large Working Hunters and Fiorenza is Reserve Champion in the Modified Junior/Amateur.  Alexa Allen wins the Speed Relay and the USEF Hunt Seat Medal.  Christina Pitz wins the Taylor Harris Medal.  Ashley Collins is Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateur Jumpers.

July 1—Redmond, WA  Potcreek to sponsor the $10,000 open jumper class at this year’s Evergreen Classic.  Potcreek has also donated a Spruce Meadows poster (autographed by many of the world’s top riders) for the silent auction benefiting the Washington Hunter-Jumper Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.

June 29—Redmond, WA (June Medal Horse Show) Alexa Anthony wins USEF Hunt Seat Medal aboard Vogue.  Alexa Allen wins the ASPCA/Maclay Medal on Chili Pepper.  Rebecca Sexton places 2nd and Garrett Schmidt places 4th in the USEF Talent Search Medal.

June 19—Calgary, AB (Spruce Meadows) Team Wicked places 5th in the 1.10 meter Prix D’Nations competition.  Alexa Allen on Chili Pepper opened the week with a win in the speed phase, which was followed by outstanding performances by Emily Hilton on Killconnell Cruise, Garrett Schmidt on Imax, and Grace Weiss on Taminika.

May 31—Langley, BC (Thunderbird) Alexa Allen wins USEF Talent Search class.  Rebecca Sexton wins the Pessoa/USEF Hunter Seat Medal class. Wendy Collins is Champion in Equitation 14 and Under and Emily Hilton is Reserve Junior Hunter.

May 17—Monroe, WA (Pacific NW Horse Show)  Rebecca Sexton wins her 5th USEF Talent Search Class and the ASPCA Horsemanship class.  Emily Hilton is Champion Jr. Hunter and is Co-champion Jr. Equitation with Alexa Anthony. Melanie Kuechle is Champion Pre-Adult Hunters and Pre-Adult Equitation.  Wendy Hoff is Champion A/A Hunters and Reserve in A/A Equitation.  Lauren Myers is Reserve Jr. Equitation and Wendy Collins is Reserve Modified Child Hunter.  Christina Pitz is Reserve Child Hunter. Alexa Allen is Reserve Child Jumper.

May 15—Redmond, WA  Potcreek announces that it will be hosting the June Medal Horse Show on June 29th.  Haul-in equitation riders are encouraged to participate.

April 30—Redmond, WA Olympic Gold Medalist Joe Fargis will be returning to Potcreek on June 30th to hold a 2-day clinic.   A waitlist is expected for riders wanting to participate in the 3’, 3’6”, and 4’ divisions, however, covered viewing is being provided for auditors.  Please call if you are interested.

March 22— Thermal, CA (HITS Desert Circuit) Richard Neil presented with the Potcreek Meadow Farm Junior Sportsmanship Award for 2009.  Richard rides with Dick Carvin and Francie Steinwedell-Carvin at Meadow Grove Farm in Lakeview Terrace, CA.

March 18— Thermal, CA (HITS Desert Circuit)  Potcreek Meadow Farm’s Fiorenza is Reserve Circuit Champion and Reserve 2nd half Circuit Champion in Green Confirmation Hunters.  Alexa Anthony is Reserve Circuit Champion and 2nd half Circuit Champion in 14-15 Equitation.  Wendy Collins Champion 12-13 Equitation (Week V) and Reserve Champion (Week IV).  Emily Hilton Reserve Champion 12-13 Equitation (Week (VII).

January 17—Bellevue, WA (WA State Hunters & Jumpers Association Awards Banquet)  Potcreek riders and horses are top year-end award winners.
