Haul-in equitation riders are encouraged to participate. October 23—Bishop. GA Carly Anthony named MVP on the Flat in Univ. of Georgia’s victory over USC. October 23—Redmond, WA (Halloween Classic Horse Show) Kera McCandless is awarded the prestigious 12 annual “Best Costume” prize for her adaptation of the Pink Panther Rides Again. September 26—Bishop, GA Carly Anthony named MVP on the Flat in Univ. of Georgia’s victory over SMU. September 25—Burbank, CA (LA International) Alexa Anthony places 9th in the USEF Talent Search National Finals (West). Lauren Myers wins the Talent Search Flat Phase with a score of 86. September 21—Lexington, KY Alexa Anthony selected as one of the 12 finalists for the Emerging Athletes Program (EAP) National Finals to be held at the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center November 19-21. Alexa Allen selected as reserve. September 18—Monroe, WA (NW Autumn Finals) Alexa Anthony wins the Maclay Regional for Zone 7. Wendy Collins 4th, Alexa Allen 7th, Becca Sexton 8th. Killconnell Cruise 1.20m champion and wins Jr. Am Classic. Abrakadabra is Reserve Champion 1.20m, Woodpecker de Villars is 2nd in the $10,000 Grand Prix and Reserve Champion in 1.30m jumpers. Silent Screen Star is Reserve Champion in the 0.90m Children’s Jumpers and 3rd in Classic. Cara Anthony wins leading Professional Jumper Rider and Wendy Collins wins leading Junior Hunter Rider and Jr Hunter 15under Champion. Davidoff wins 7&8 yr old class. September 15—Redmond, WA Potcreek releases the prize list for its 12th Annual Halloween Classic Horse Show to be held Saturday October 23rd. September 3—Yelm, WA The American Holsteiner Horse Association approves Potcreek’s 2010 foal Quintano (by Quinar—out of Afonia) as a premium colt for their Studbook. April 18—Waco, TX Carly Anthony and her teammates at the University of Georgia win the NCAA National Championships. March 20—Redmond, WA Potcreek announces that it will be hosting the Almost Mother’s Day Medal Horse Show on Sunday May 2nd. Haul-in equitation riders are encouraged to participate. March 19—Redmond, WA Potcreek is please to announce its upcoming clinic with Bernie Traurig on May 22-23. Mr. Traurig is a winner of the AHSA Medal finals at Madison Square Garden and the Maclay Medal finals. In 2009, Mr. Traurig was the clinician for the Emerging Athletes Program (Level 2) and is the eyes and ears for George Morris on the West Coast. 3’, 3’6”, and 4’ sections will be offered. March 14—Thermal, CA (HITS Desert Circuit VI) Wendy Collins wins the PCHA Medal. Alexa Anthony is 4th in the Ronnie Much Equitation Classic. Rebecca Sexton is 3rd in both the USET Talent Search and Maclay Medals. Melanie Kuechle is Reserve Champion 2’6” Adult Equitation. And congratulations to Bela Mullan on her new pony “Crack of Dawn” and to Lauren Myers on her new horse “Nairobi”. March 13—Thermal, CA (Hits Desert Circuit) Theodore Boris of Culver City, CA is awarded the Potcreek Meadow Farm Junior Sportsmanship Award for 2010. Theo rides with Karen Healy of Karen Healy Stables. March 7—Thermal, CA (HITS Desert Circuit V) Alexa Allen and Chili Pepper win the $2500 Child Jumper Classic. Alexa Anthony wins the Washington Medal—Jumper Phase. Rebecca Sexton wins the Junior Equitation on the flat (16-17). February 27—Thermal, CA (HITS Desert Circuit IV) Potcreek Partner’s Woodpecker de Villars has qualified for the 2010 Young Jumper Championships (8yr old division). Ashley Collins and Cadiz win the $4000 Adult Jumper Classic and are Reserve Champion of the Level 3 Jumpers. Wendy Collins is Champion of the Children’s Hunters (14-17). January 16—Bellevue, WA (WSHJA Year-End Awards Banquet) Rebecca Sexton is presented with the Washington State Hunter & Jumper Association’s “Junior Sportsmanship Award”. Team Potcreek wins Year-End National Championships (or reserve championships) and trophies in 15 divisions. January 10—Reno, NV (EAP Nationals-Level 3) Carly Anthony and Richard Neal are selected as the inaugural EAP winners. Alexa Anthony and Kathryn Hayley were runners-up. January 3—Redmond, WA (New Year’s Medal Show) Lauren Myers wins the USEF Talent Search medal.
